Free foundation samples?

Hi. I was wondering where I can go to recieve free foundation samples. I know clinique gives them out, but I was wondering about MAC, Lancome, and other makeup counters in the mall. I'm not trying to be a freeloader or anything, but I need to see if they will make me break out before I commit and buy a full bottle of it. I have oily/combination skin and breakout about once a month. So I was wondering 1) Which makeup counters give out free samples, and 2) Which ones you would recommend from personal experience.
