HELP ME SIMS 2 SERIOUS!?

I am having a problem. The thing is, I have had the Sims 2 on my computer for two years. I have the traditional game, pets, open for business, university, H&M stuff, holiday stuff, bon voyage, nightlife, seasons, glamor life, and just this year I got freetime. I have also downloaded things like hair, clothes, sims, and houses from the internet. The game has been running okay, except that someone in my house deleted the shortcuts for all of the packs except for open f.b., university, traditional game, and nightlife. I tried playing it tonight and a message came up that said "the sims 2 freetime is not installed properly or needs to be installed" or something like that. What's wrong? Please help!
