I want to hear from theists who believe in macroevolution, can you explain how this is not in conflict?

ok so you think there is a god, and you dont think he created us in his image? and even if not, if we evolved from microbes once upon a time, and are in fact related to many insignificant life forms, how coudl god have a special place for us in this world or the next? just cause we can think donest mean we're special, we only think we are. perhaps. certainly macroevolution precludes christianity.
