Im a uni student who is home for summer....how can i make friends?

All my friends from school are staying at uni over summer. I cant afford to so have to move home. I have started a job but its mostly older people. I want to make friends my own age for the summer- but im rubbish at sport. Im pretty much useless at most things- not arty either. How can i meet new people?
