What is a ruck march?

I was told in my army rotc detachment that we're going to do a ruck march in our university campus on friday. I asked if they could be more specific but they told me that they'd tell me on friday. I want to know now.. I looked it up on the internet but I still don't get what it is.... so what is exactly an army ruck march for an rotc cadet?
