Why has america run out of fashion trends?

I mean not much has changed since 1999 a little but not too much but 1989 -1999was a huge difference and how come hairstyles aren't like they used tobe big and move around,now it is just narrow andstrait,and most music is just sampling and I mean mowhawk hairstyles are pouplar for black but fashion trends are just not the same,I wasborn in 1994 but even I see a difference I wish big hair in a different style would come come back!
